Jungle fever

Lets Talk Magazine, Post on 25th October, 2016

Check out your animal instincts!
Add a tinge of the jungle to your autumn wardrobe as animal prints are back … and they’re easier to pull off than you think. Feeling sheepish? Start with a few restrained pieces and work your way up.

My own selection features mix-and-match styling, perfect for adding key statement pieces of jewellery or just letting your animals do the talking! Try not to mix patterns and colourways, keep it simple, teaming tops with a pair of jeans or a little black jacket.

One of the best fashion items to hit the high streets is a ‘coatigan’ – a long cardigan for women, made of thick yarn and designed to be worn as a coat. It fills the gap between a cardigan being too thin for an autumn day, and a full-on coat which will have you roasting after a few minutes of walking.

FashionThis ‘coatigan’ is lighter than a coat but still a cosy layer that’s as at home in the house or on the high street. In a soft tweed-look knit with long set-in sleeves, a revere collar, attractive chunky button fastening to the front plus front patch pockets. Length approx 42” (107cm).
Machine washable, 90% acrylic, 10% wool
Sizes 8/10 to 24/26
