My name was Patricia E.Randall born in London and grew up in Bunwell till I was 17 years old and we moved to Sprowston.  I came to USA on November 5th 1965 to work for an English family in NY which did not pan out.  Ended up in Massachusetts for 2 years.  Went to see and spend time with my Aunt Doris who came here during WW2 and settled in Pennsylvania.  Sad to say she and her husband a WW2 GI is no longer alive.  I am plodding on at 66 years old now and still live in upstate NY which is cold in winter time but summers are lovely here.  Still have some English accent and still call England my home and come home every once in a while although my family gets smaller.  Norwich has changed so much since I lived there.  I worked at Curls my last job before coming to USA and still in touch with some of the girls.  Cannot seem to find a lot of my old friends.I still knit and recently made an English Tea cosy.  My knitting needles are always going.  Recently watched the Football American Game at Wembley stadium on TV here with the NY Giants winning.  I have found a lot of English girls here I once knew.  We had so much fun back then with the dance halls and going to Sculthorpe on the buses.  Wish I could find Maureen who lived off Wroxham Rd but cannor remember her maiden name. My life is good here but miss the old times which you cannot go back to as life goes on.  Merry Christmas to all who remember me. Still cannot find you Gay Tyler.maiden name.

Hi Norman, I just found your message as I do not go on Let,s Talk site too often.  My family in Norwich use to send me the Let,s Talk by air mail.  I do live upstate in NY but not as far as Binghamton. Never been there.  I live about 100 miles from Manhattan NY City.  When I first came to NY I lived and worked for English people as a Nanny in Mount Kisco outside of NY City which did not work out.  I got my own apartment in the borough of the Bronx NY and worked in Manhattan for the telephone company in 1968.  In 1971 I moved here and worked at several jobs until 1995 when I broke my back and have not worked since.  I tried to sell my house last year but due to poor market my house deal fell thru but I do like it here but cold in the wintertime with lots of snow. My house has 2 acres so lots to do and wanted to move south where it is much warmer now I do not work anymore and older too.  I still have family in London and Norwich, Norfolk who come here.  Lot of my friends came to America and some I worked with moved to Spain.  My brother in Norwich has passed away and one brother in London too but I keep on going although my family has gone so much smaller.
