Tubes of toothpaste are difficult items to store.  I solved the problem by taking the top off an empty dental floss comtainer and fixing it on the shelf of my bathroom cabinet with BluTac. I put the toothpast tube in upside down, with the end bent over and held by a Bulldog clip. Now the tube never wanders and gravity ensures I use up every last drop of toothpase!
