Wisbech Model Railway Club
|
|

Until May 1987 and when it suddenly had to close for some petty reason, or so we were told, I was member of Kings Lynn Model Railway Club. Three years ago while living in Wisbech, I started one there and we have very near built a layout 22 feet long and just over two feet wide. I have since moved back into Norfolk, but if anybody from Kings Lynn and/or Downham Market areas would like to join it, please see my signature below for details of the website and where contact details can be found, along with some photographs of the layout.

Well, 'The Club' is now almost 4 years of age and this year already, we have 4 Exhibitions booked to attend, plus another for late in 2010. Watch this space, or see our website at www.wmrc.weebly.com for details of the Exhibitions.

Because 'The Club' has now Outgrown the first venue, a new venue is much needed and literally ASAP. Plans were afoot to move to another venue in the near future. Talks were held and a decision was made to decline it due to being of similar size to that of the current one. If you have knowledge of an empty building/room/etc., where we can leave the layout up, then please see website www.wmrc.weebly.com for contact details. Thank you.

We ARE now 'Homeless' and so need somewhere to meet ASAP due to a small number of Exhibitions to attend before the end of the year.
