Neil has been in the publishing industry locally for all of his working life, the past 42 years with Archant. He spent much of his career on the commercial side of the business and has contributed a weekly column to the Eastern Daily Press for a number of years.
When Let’s Talk was launched in 2002 he joined the editorial team permanently. Initially he was chief writer becoming editor in 2009.
Co-editor Terry Redhead rejoined the Let’s Talk team in April 2012 having been the launch editor for the very first three editions of the magazine in 2002.
He became a journalist back in the early 1970s and moved to Norfolk in 1995. He was group editor of Archant Norfolk’s weekly newspaper portfolio until January 2011 and during his career has been a sports reporter, sports editor and production editor.
Pete is the sub-editor and page designer on Let’s Talk. He became a journalist in the late 1980s, and has worked on a number of newspapers and magazines in the UK, Malta and Hong Kong as a writer and page designer.
He joined Let’s Talk in 2010, having previously worked for the Eastern Daily Press in Norwich as a sub-editor and occasional writer.
Helen Silvester is in charge of advertising for Let’s Talk. She joined the company in June, 2011 and worked on both digital sites and classified ads. She moved to Let’s Talk as Account Manager in September, 2012. She manages all aspects of advertising with Let’s Talk, and also writes food reviews.
Helen has worked in the fields of accounts and restaurant management, as a publican and in training and sales.
She attended the University of East Anglia, Norwich, where she obtained a BA Hons degree in European History & Politics. Helen is also a qualifed tennis coach
