Out and about: where to park FREE
Free car parking – you might have thought it was a thing
of the past but Let’s Talk! has rooted out some places where you don’t
have to pay to park. Anne Gould and Neil Haverson report
Thinking of going out for the day/having a picnic by the sea/popping into
town for a coffee and a few food treats from M&S?
These days, unless you are very lucky any of these outings will mean you
get stung heavily for parking charges, paying up to £2.50 or even
more an hour. However if you know the lie of the land there are usually
places off the main streets where you can put the car without having to
dip into your pocket.
